The Busser is responsible for facilitating food and beverage service to guests and patrons in an expedient, professional and courteous manner.


  • Collect and set up necessary equipment to perform job (complete opening and closing side-work).
  • Assist servers in any way necessary: Run food, clear dishes, re-set tables, pour water, drop menus etc.
  • Serve guests and internal team members in accordance with established standards.
  • Keep work station neat, clean and organized throughout shift.
  • Make sure work area is clean, stocked and prepped for the next shift before leaving.
  • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all Canyon Breeze food and beverage menus and daily specials.  Be prepared to answer guests' questions.
  • Properly handle all equipment and supplies (i.e. china, glass and silver).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Well organized.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Red Mountain Gold Star Standards.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all Canyon Breeze food, beverage, wine service/list, liquor laws and daily specials. 
  • Knowledge of health & sanitation policies, proper handling of equipment and supplies (i.e. china, glass and silver) and observe all safety procedures during execution of assigned duties.
  • Excellent customer service skills.


  • Food Handler's Permit required within 30 days from date of hire. 
  • If age 21 or higher, must have or be able to obtain T.I.P.S. or S.M.A.R.T. certification and food handler's certification.

The employee must be able to spend entire shift on his/her feet.  

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.   

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The employee must be flexible in working evenings, weekends and holidays; employee must be able to comply with department's uniform requirements.
